Mari , violinist, has an extensive background performing and delighting audiences
everywhere from Orange County to Europe! Mari’s latest endeavor took her to London for a tribute concert for the Royal Couple and, then, for Queen Elizabeth’s 60th Diamond Jubilee! And, Mari played for other dignitaries from Palm Desert to Laguna Beach.

Her versatility and dependability makes Mari a must for your event, however big or small, from a dinner for two, a wedding, reception, fund-raiser, corporate party, or birthday party. Mari plays solos and also has duets, trios, quartets for your special event. She is equally at home playing classical music , standards, movie themes, light jazz, popular music , and is a wiz at gypsy music! Mari won an award for her solo performance at the Topanga Banjo and Fiddle Contest. Maybe you prefer strolling violin or violins. Mari has been strolling for years, since she played on TV for Elmer Dills Romantic Restaurant Special. Or, you may wish to have an electric violin or two for that special ambience! She has played for many city events in bands, such as the Greg Wolfe Band and others.

Mari has a B.A. from Occidental College, studied at the Aspen Music Festival, and for years studied advanced performance with Eudice Shapiro of USC. She is a specialist on her Baroque violin, as well, and plays recitals on modern violin, viola, and cello. Mari has played on T.V. and radio, such as KUSC, KPFK, and her improvisation can be heard in movies and shows. Mari has a friendly, cooperative spirit, and can be at YOUR event, too!
