Ron – Jazz Pianist

Ron, jazz pianist, contemporary classical composer, teacher, and music producer, is based in Orange County. He has been active on the jazz scene in the greater Los Angeles area for over 25 years, working with great vocalists and instrumentalists such as Paul Williams, Ellis Hall, Barbara Morrison, Thelma Jones, Faith Rivera, Harold Payne, Angela Carole Brown, Andrea Miller, Catte Adams, and many others.

Ron has a Master’s Degree in Music from UCLA and did his post-graduate work in jazz performance under the renowned Charles “Doc” Rutherford at Orange Coast College. Ron has taught and accompanied students at the UCLA, Orange Coast College, Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA), and Idyllwild Arts Academy.

As a composer, Ron has written music in virtually all genres and media, including solo, chamber and orchestral works, vocal music, electronic music and jazz. He has performed on and produced dozens of recordings.

Ron plays weekly at venues around Orange County and LA and is available for private events, parties, weddings, and recitals.
